Black Friday Turns Dark and Ugly with Herd Mentality
I was reading Mike Bryant’s blog and saw that he’d referred to a Target Store in Buffalo, New York where apparently once again there was a crowd control problem. Watch this video clip of the store opening at 4:00 a.m. on Black Friday.
What is wrong with this picture? Are you kidding me, stampeding over people just to get a GameBoy? Have you no life?
Keep it up and one of several things will happen.
- Cities and towns will outlaw Black Friday.
- Stores will install turnstile type entryways for holiday shopping.
- You’ll get killed by a stampede.
What should happen?
- Install video cameras from all angles and outside to completely record the entire mob so that charges can be filed against those pushing and shoving.
- Ban those who do the pushing and shoving from all future shopping events.
- Criminally prosecute those responsible.
- Make this a felony because pushing and shoving in a crowded entry way is no different than shooting a gun into a crowd.
In another sign that people have lost any bit of sanity watch as this shopper takes out all the television screens at this Wal-Mart in Georgia.
Take all of what you just experienced and then knowing you can get most of these products for a lower price on the Internet or on Craig’s List, why would anyone risk life or limb to experience this herd of Buffalo?
